- Fishing: Lake Tenkiller is home to a variety of fish species, including bass, catfish, crappie, walleye, and trout. You can fish from the shore, from a boat, or even from a scuba diving site. You’ll need an Oklahoma fishing license and a spear fishing permit if you want to try spear fishing for non-game fish.
- Scuba Diving: Tenkiller State Park is considered one of the best places in the state for scuba diving, as its waters are clear from eight to 28 feet. You can explore the underwater terrain and see the remains of homesteads and artifacts from before the lake was formed. You can also see a sunken airplane fuselage, school bus, helicopter, and two boats at the Tenkiller Scuba Park. There are two diving pro shops on the lake that offer training, certification, and equipment rental.

The trails range from easy to moderate in difficulty and are suitable for all ages and skill levels. You can also bring your bike and ride along the paved roads or the dirt trails in the park.
